Here Is The ONLY Answer TOWARDS Rectifying Our Worlds DISCONNECTION….

 

Although ‘The Big Bang Theory’ on CBS may have helped in the evolution of giving NERDS around the world a new distinction, there have been many other incarnations of such bonded friendships that could give their crew a real run for their geek cache. In fact, I had such a group of Awkward Superheroes growing up in a suburb outside of Washington, DC. Built from a composite of various brainiacs, gregarious geeks, and unlucky in love lotharios, what we lacked on the ‘popularity scale’, we certainly made up for with a passionate ingenuity!

One trait that perhaps best exemplified the glue that kept us close for most of our formative years, was our unified stand on LOVE. We cherished it. Desired it and fiercely defended its honor at all costs. Poems, love letters, songs....we did them ALL!  Nothing gave us more pleasure than conjuring the most creative ways to express our affections in the attempt to win over the hearts of the glorious gals that crossed our paths.

In fact, one particular young lady, who had caught my complete adoration, became the benchmark for the lengths to which we would extend ourselves. Her 18th Birthday was just around the corner and I was doggedly intent on making it one she would never forget.  So after an exhaustive trip to the mall for materials, I gathered our LOVE POSSE and we stayed up most of the night creating an 18 foot ‘Happy Birthday’ banner in our college dorm's parking lot.  These were obviously more innocent times; where five guys with spray paint cans and masks after midnight caused NO concern for further investigation. LOL  After several hours of drawing and painting, when we finally finished our mission it was nearly dawn. And that's when the real work began.......

I was gracious enough to let most of the guys get to bed, sans one. He had the stupendous task of convening with me a little later that morning at the High School that this lucky lass attended.  In true 'Mission Impossible' style, I told him we had exactly ONE hour to climb to the top of the edifice guarding the building's main entrance to erect my VISION of overlaying this banner and its ‘Ode to LOVE’, plus 18 pink balloons, completely covering the school's visible namesake in the process. That way, when all the busses pulled into the parking lot later that morning, my act of care and adoration could be seen by her and the entire school. And ya know what, we somehow pulled it off.  Totally ‘Say Anything’ style!!

My piece de la resistance. And........she LOVED IT! Not only that, but I ended up escorting her to the school's end of year prom. An amazing experience given I never attended my own! The school put out a beacon to find the culprit, but it did its job and I was never caught. Years later, she sent me a picture of the banner, and told me it is still one of her greatest treasures!

Unfortunately, not all of my other attempts, and those of our group, were met with the same enthusiasm in the following years. But we didn't give up.  LOVE never does.

There is a potent scene in the film 'Adaptation' staring Nicolas Cage that completely embodied the ESSENCE of our unabashedly passionate stand on Love's elixir and its importance in our experience:

Charlie Kaufman: There was this time in high school. I was watching you out the library window. You were talking to Sarah Marsh. 

Donald Kaufman: Oh, God. I was so in love with her. 

Charlie Kaufman: I know. And you were flirting with her. And she was being really sweet to you. 

Donald Kaufman: I remember that. 

Charlie Kaufman: Then, when you walked away, she started making fun of you with Kim Canetti. And it was like they were laughing at *me*. You didn't know at all. You seemed so happy. 

Donald Kaufman: I knew. I heard them. 

Charlie Kaufman: How come you looked so happy? 

Donald Kaufman: I loved Sarah, Charles. It was mine, that love. I owned it. Even Sarah didn't have the right to take it away. I can love whoever I want. 

Charlie Kaufman: But she thought you were pathetic. 

Donald Kaufman: That was her business, not mine. You are what you love, not what loves you. That's what I decided a long time ago.

Let THAT sink in for a moment.  You are what you LOVE, NOT what loves you. PREACH! And may I get an 'amen' in the back of the congregation!

Our world is in such need of Truth Seekers, Bringers of the Light, and convictions of UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.  So even if you feel your wings are broken, or if your heart has been ripped apart by betrayal and loss, please NEVER give up on extending yourself toward others. Honesty, kindness, respect. There is simply not enough. And always remember, what you are currently seeking is also seeking you!  

Eventually, we will prevail NOT in spite of our pain, failures, and struggles, but BECAUSE of the strength and guidance we gained from those experiences.  As Neale Donald Walsh heard from God's silent whisper, “Know, that I send you nothing but ANGELS.”

The WORLD Is STILL Waiting For WHO You Are Meant TO BE!!

 

The Journey of Self Actualization can be fraught with a myriad of judgement, (both self induced and from external sources), distractions, confusion, impatience, and all too often very LONELY!  The pure fact is that the great majority of the Spirits currently residing on and in this plane of existence are sleepwalking through their lives.  This is in NO way a judgement.  For everyone is on their own path and deserves the DIGNITY OF THEIR OWN PROCESS!  However, the byproduct of this truth causes those of us who are at a point of conscious awakening to be challenged and questioned for our way of BEING all to often.  Which can knock us off the Heavenly Horse that we are using to unfold our individual Hero/Heroine's Journey.  And that fall can cause us to question our own PATH. And many of our long held Beliefs and Desires are left without a place to call home.  I have found that it takes a Gi-normous amount of COURAGE, PERSEVERANCE, and an intentional Mindset of absolute Tenacity to stay on the Path of our own awakening so that we can unleash the full potential that resides within our SOUL!  A potential that is absolutely unique and carries a DIVINE DNA that has been carefully designed for YOU and you alone; and once awakened becomes a slice of Magical Stardust that this World has never witnessed!!   I'm talking about the stuff that creates Miracles!!   You are basically a Spiritual Super Hero who wields the power of SOURCE ( the close cousin of The Force..  ;0).......  

Our world has slowly become a manufacturer of deliberate distractions, that while in short bursts may have some sense of usefulness, (Hello Facebook, Instagram, Snap Chat, Twitter, and addictive TV binging) they have also caused an unwieldy way for us Lightworkers and Wounded Healers/Heroes to disperse our limited energy away from our true CALLINGS.  The actual reason that we are all on this spinning blue ball in the Cosmos!  It's causing an epidemic of us chasing false idols in an attempt to fill the emotional holes and sorrowful feelings of disconnection, loneliness, and most importantly avoid the very pain that came to shed light on the areas where Healing Love and Light still need our compassionate attention.   We are looking for the 'Easy Buttons' life offers us in droves.  Yet, as spiritual teacher Lissa Rankin says, "Expending all of your energy trying to fill some "hungry ghost" hole inside rarely works.  No amount of sex, money, fame, achievement, or hedonistic pleasure fills us for very long."

So is it any wonder why it truly feels like there is currently a lack of Unity amongst us.  Personally, I have NEVER felt such a lack of common courtesy, kindness, acknowledgement and assistance toward the sick and suffering, and service to our fellow brothers and sisters.  It's like we are a horde similar in vein to those that fill the popular zombie fest of  The Walking Dead.  And what a travesty because ironically, Re-membering the very core aspects of Who We Truly Are contains the healing balm that once applied, would eradicate our current disconnection, awaken us from our slumber and Unite us as ONE!!  

One of my Hero's, Martin Luther King, Jr. had a DREAM, and so do I!  For deep within my SOUL is a Knowingness that the most powerful and disruptive way for us to raise the Collective Consciousness of this planet is for us to awake one another from our slumber.  Precious time and heaping amounts of attention is being wasted on things that don't truly matter.  We have SO much to BE and DO..........   And at the very top of that list is to LOVE one another into Divine BEING   ...Being kind....present....compassionate...and of SERVICE to one another !!!! As Maya Angelou said the only thing anyone will remember is HOW YOU MADE THEM FEEL.........

I believe many of us have a deep rooted burning or intuitive itch that there is something more that we should be doing with our lives.  And as much as we choose to ignore that feeling, it never truly leaves  our inner consciousness.  In fact, it often shows up in a myriad of synchronistic ways.  Sadly, the majority of us spend a lifetime with our back turned toward its very existence.  But ya know what, the  unique set of talents and skills that were bestown upon you to complete your life's Calling/Callings will be FOREVER wasted and never have the opportunity to be shared with the world.  Why?!?!   Because there is only ONE YOU!  And there will NEVER be anyone like you ever again!   Thus your heaven sent Calling can ONLY be manifested through the essence that makes up your BEING.......  Isn't that knowingness enough to give you the confidence to break through any block, limiting belief or fear of failure that is holding you back from becoming the Hero that is your very BIRTHRIGHT...?!?!?

I know my life's Calling is to assist in championing Heroes and Heroines.  Because that is what EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU ARE....   You are Pregnant with Potential.....   Beyond Beautiful... Consciously Creative...  Pure Perfection...    and more POWERFUL than you could possibly Imagine...   I PROMISE YOU!!!  Did that get your attention?!?!?   I sure hope so!  

Given this TRUTH, what would it look like to start giving more attention and energy toward the things that don't just cure boredom, but that can create BLISSFUL BOOSTS toward slowly beginning to unleash the galvanizing gifts that are lying dormant within you.  Do you know that the Spiritual Super Powers that you alone will ever possess are needed by others RIGHT NOW!  That's right...   There are people waiting to be Blessed by the LOVE and Magic that only you carry within your very essence!    WOWSA!!  This is important stuff for us to Re-member!   Wouldn't you agree.........

Now one last thing I would like to impart you with as you awaken to follow your personal life's Mission is that it will most often involve some sort of pain and suffering.  Many of you are inherently aware of this and it may be the very reason you are deciding to avoid your Calling.  But think about some of our favorite Super Heroes.  The most popular of which go through a great deal of pain and suffering as they transform into accepting their Calling.  Batman(Bruce Wayne) endured the death of his parents in front of his very eyes.  Superman lost his entire world in order to be re-born on this planet.  Deadpool contracted a deadly form of cancer and chose to go through a torturous transformation to gain his powers.  And chances are your Journey will cause you to face your traumas, unhealed pain, and suffering.  I never said your Mission would be easy.....   ;0)

But pain and adversity are the greatest teachers we will ever encounter.  Pain is a Professor that leads us to our POWER!  The fact is that Pain will eventually knock on EVERYBODY'S door.  Those that are brave and wise enough to let it in will come to understand it came to teach and enlighten us.  The Acceptance of this process will help alleviate you becoming a victim of your life's circumstances and see everything as a gift.  And in return be GUIDED towards your Divine Destiny!  

The Bottom Line is that it is time for us to FINALLY UNITE AS ONE.  To assist others with loving compassion back toward the LIGHT!  To extend a helping hand and awaken them from their life of simple Slumber.  BE the SOURCE of awakening for all others by showering them with acknowledgment and LOVE!  Praise them for their talents.   Sometimes its the simplest of gestures that can change someone's life.

Help them Re-member Who They Really Are!   Encourage them to be The Greatest Version of Themselves...   

This world needs more HEROES....    Your time as a caterpillar has EXPIRED...   YOUR WINGS ARE READY....TIME FOR YOU TO FLY..............
