HERE Is The PATH TOWARD Discovering All YOUR SUPERPOWERS...!

 

Addendum: Soon after completing today's post, I was completely blindsided by a very personal matter. The type of life blow that can shatter your own belief system as you are brought down to your knees, shuttering in pain! 

In some ways, I found it beyond ironic that I received this ungodly information soon after posting this discourse about NEVER being a victim to your life circumstances....  As the saying goes, "God/The Universe works in mysterious ways."  Ain't that the truth...  LOL

Long time readers of my blog know all to well my propensity to include many very personal life stories in my writings to hopefully inspire others; if not help them know they are in NO WAY alone in whatever trials and tribulations may come their way.

And lastly, my intention for sharing such intimate, personal discourses is to let others see that even those of us who have the courage to call ourselves coaches, teachers, gurus, healers, or experts go through many of the same heartbreaking, painstakingly ordeals as everyone else. In this realm, pain and suffering is unavoidable. Easy, HELL NO! Necessary, without ANY doubt. 

In fact, I truly believe the biggest difference between those who succeed in life, and those who flounder and drift through their precious time here on Earth, comes down to ONE BASIC TENET! HOW WELL DO THEY HANDLE ADVERSITY?!

I can't begin to tell you how many times life has pounded me down to the proverbial mat. I like to say I have been down the 'buffet line of life.' At this juncture, there truly isn't much more life can throw my way. Or maybe throw AT ME is the better term.  LOL

And as nasty as some of these daily doses of adversity have been, I have come to understand something I wish all of you New Age Nerds to soak in.  At some point further down my own Superhero's Journey, I have inevitably been able to call upon the wisdom and insight I garnered from each and every painful loss, setback, or physical/mental malady that came my way. And I mean without any exception or hesitation! But once again, in the middle of the many storms The Universe sails in your direction, the going will at times be beyond imaginable! More akin to a hurricane filled with winds that seem completely unmanageable to even the toughest and hardened of souls. 

But as for me, I have decided to use this unbelievably unfortunate set of personal circumstances as FUEL. Just as The Batman would do! I'm going to become faster, bigger, stronger, and better in EVERY SINGLE FACET OF MY LIFE! I promised myself that in 2022, rather than TELL, I am going to SHOW my TRIBE of NEW AGE NERDS about all the amazing changes on the horizon! All to better support and INSPIRE my TRIBE into the stratosphere of Bliss Filled LOVE!!

Before I go, I would like to share this story from one of my biggest bro-crushes, and one of the forefathers of the New Age thought movement,  Napoleon Hill.

Back during the Gold Rush (1848-1855) on the Western Coast of the United States, there are plenty of well worn tales of individuals who sold the majority of their belongings to buy just enough food and equipment to make the LONG trek by horse across the hardened terrain of the country in the hope of finding their personal fortune.  A few actually had the perseverance, courage, strength and determination to make dreams a realty!  Unfortunately, the majority of them eventually ran out of money, food, supplies , or a combination of the three and said goodbye to the Left Coast to go back to the lives of poverty that awaited them.  

However, the lessons those fervent few left behind them have become things of LEGENDS.  Those who read The New Age Nerd frequently know I have a big 'ole man crush on Napoleon Hill.  And in his quote filled book, ‘Three Feet From Gold,’ he actually tells the true story of a man named  R.U Harby who lived during that time.

Harby’s uncle had gold fever, so he staked his claim and started digging.  After a lot of hard work, the uncle found a vein of ore, so he covered up his find and returned home to raise the money for the machinery that he would need to bring the ore to the surface.

They raised the money and Darby travelled with his uncle back to the site to make their fortune.

Things started well and before long, they had enough to clear their debts.  They were excited, everything from here on would be profit and things were looking good.

Then the supply of gold stopped.  The vein of ore had disappeared.

They kept on digging, but found nothing.

After a while, they quit in frustration and sold their machinery to a junk man for a few hundred dollars.

After they went home in disappointment, the astute junk man called in a mining engineer who checked the mine and calculated that there was a vein of gold just three feet from where Darby and his uncle had stopped digging.

The junk man went on to make millions from the mine.

Darby returned home, paid back everyone who had lent him money and was determined to learn from his mistake in giving up too soon.

He went on to become a phenomenally successful insurance salesman, more than recouping what he would have made from the gold mine.

He learned the lesson that you need to persevere through difficulties and stay focused if you are to become successful.

And so in 2022, dancing I will continue to do; even if it is simply with the tip toe dalliances from my fingers darting and dancing around my computer's keyboard! Because BEING A VICTIM to your current circumstances is akin to shunning the very reason for your life's unique CALLING! As I have professed time and time again...   NOTHING EVER HAPPENS TO YOU.......   EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR YOU! If any one of you is still entertaining a thought of garnering a Tattoo, that last statement may very well be the most important bit of understanding worth considering to pin on your not so eternal body! Just sayin! ;0) 

Many of the soft spoken SPIRITS on this planet have long wondered the purpose for the current state of our World as well as their place within its potential demise. We all wake up every morning to a deluge of electronic information exploding with worrisome details of a World gone plunder. Too much to shield from the wonder filled imaginations of our very own children. Wild fires and gun shots here! Political upheaval and insurrection there!  Social justice causing further divide across a county whose beliefs are split right down the middle. Constant Covid variants spreading like wild tornadoes; and in the process both taking lives and ravaging others into submission.  And speaking of tornadoes, climate change is quickly becoming the planet's biggest oncoming nightmare! Collectively, how can we not all feel completely overwhelmed!

Yet, as THE GRAND CREATOR has promised us, there is a method to all this madness. For please understand that the ONE GOD MIND herSELF makes NO MISTAKES! NO THING occurring on this planet is happening through pure happenstance! It's all been perfectly orchestrated. All for the greater good! I promise! And as Tom Cruise was presented with in the movie 'Top Gun,' it's best not to write checks your body can't cash! So be rest assured that my spiritual savings are filled with discretionary income! ;0)

Although a profession few of you desire to hear, PAIN IS THE PERFECT PROFESSOR! It de-stresses our clouded misgivings into detailed visions of the reason why our Earthly sufferings have been brought into our individual experiences. Our suffering contains great wisdom. It deepens our core understanding and empathy for all things both great and small. Without suffering, we would not have the conscious connection that heightens our ability to soothe the pain of our fellow brothers and sisters. It softens our touch into soothing balms of LOVE for others to receive in their greatest times of faith bending needs!   

But PAIN without understanding is where SUFFERING goes awry! In the 'Garden of Earthly Understanding,' suffering uncovers our TRUE ESSENCE! It showers us with powerful blasts of wisdom filled rain drops that eradicate the egoic 'MUCK' keeping us from connecting with our SUPER HEROIC HIGHER SELVES! A Super Powerful sense of remembrance that WE ARE ALL ONE, and that while our bodies are temporary holy temples, we are all indeed SPIRITUAL BEINGS HAVING A TEMPORARY HUMAN EXPERIENCE! Our ever lasting SPIRITS are SUPER HEROIC! We all chose to manifest into the human condition to afford us the purpose of the grand expansion of our own eternal consciousness! Soul filled currency that will afford us entrance into the ever expanding Kingdom of Love! Ponder that thought the next time you doubt you own Trials and Tribulations...............    ;0)

Pain may at times 'shake you to your knees,' and as tough as this may seem, when it appears, pause for a moment to see what it needs! For pain always comes to shine a light bright as the sun. Showing the places within us that still require our individual attention. The crevices of consciousness that are still looking to become full and whole; so that your SOUL can thrive beyond measure once free from its earthly form! For our earthly struggles become most arduous the moment we look at our lives through the lens of permanence. Meaning we accept our temporary life circumstances as permanent fixtures of eternal experience. For No Thing could be farther from the TRUTH! Our current life circumstances, as challenging or excruciating as they may be, contain only temporary moments of loss, grief, suffering, and pain. And I should know. For the Universe definitely did not skimp on my own soul filled experience of LOVE and LOSS! Grief, pain and suffering. A cascade of moments allowing me to decide for mySELF if this whole damn experience/experiment was worth the effort; for if NOT, then why would I choose to slow down my own soul filled vibration to arrive on the scene of such chaos?! Not to mention the consistent pangs of pain and near torturous sufferings I have endured the past 50 years. No pain, no gain; well, maybe some days that soothes my pain, for on others, I simply feel like throwing in the proverbial white towel of surrender. I'm quite sure I'm not alone in these ruminations.....    Or am I ?!  ;0)

But it's EXACTLY when we feel as though all is lost that we must forge on! And see the thick forest that appears before you is simply an illusion. It's NOT blocking the light; your PERSPECTIVE of your current situation is! Does that make sense. 

Meaning we don't succeed In Spite of our struggles, but rather BECAUSE OF THE UNDERSTANDING AND WISDOM their hard fought garnering brought into our ever expanding consciousness. Easy peezy?! HELL NO! Worth it?! ABSOLUTELY....  For you will continue to earn every precious thread on your own Superhero's cape! For once our bodies have settled back into the earthly resin from which they came, the growth of LOVE and JOY we took away from our greatest hardships will settle into the spiritual vessels we use as currency in the hereafter. A cosmic 'Ticket to Ride' with absolutely NO restrictions. And you will have the heavenly perspective that all is and always will be well! Soul infused universal lessons are indeed hard garnered accoutrements on planet Earth! But they last forever; no questions asked.................. EVER!  

So the next time life is threatening to squeeze the air from your well intentioned breathes, nearly extinguished from perseverance, KNOW THAT YOU ARE BEING USED AS A VESSEL! A twilight painting for all the world to see. A brave portrait of trust, belief, compassion, and knowingness that not one single drop of your pain and suffering is in vein! FOR YOU ARE HERE TO BE AN INSPIRATION FOR ALL OTHERS! And being an INSPIRATION is perhaps the greatest gift we can give and receive in this short time frame we have chosen to call LIFE! 

Just look at the global impact NBA Superstar Kobe Bryant was able to manifest during his 41 years sharing his worldly talents with our planet! While not everyone can have such a wide reaching rumination, my own father taught me how far a few acts of kindness and LOVE can go toward repairing a Planet in desperate need of UNITY! I was shellshocked during his retirement party as a Virginia based teacher who had AT LEAST ONE STUDENT FROM EVERY YEAR HE TAUGHT! He did indeed leave us all with a template on how to build an everlasting Legacy! 


For where others still see confusion, you are here to show them the calm of the storm. When they experience chaos, it is your purpose to exhibit kindness. And when this World's palette is filled with pangs of separation, may you shine your own LIGHT, as bright as the Sun, with the promise of a new day; in which the wind dries all tears, and the warmth of God's healing hands showers ALL with the understanding that from LOVE doth thee came, and from LOVE will thee return.............

My ultimate goal in 2022 is to start a Revolutionary Movement!  In which ONE by ONE, as a community of NEW AGE NERDS, we encourage, INSPIRE, and support each other to take the first action steps towards uncovering our unique set of superpowers. So we can begin to fulfill our life's CALLING! And finally start using these super powers to help LOVE THIS WORLD BACK INTO THE LIGHT! Because now is the time to write that business plan, start that family, write the first check toward a new class, start a Mastermind group, hire a life coach, walk into a TOASTMASTERS seminar, start a new lifestyle to lose that extra weight, shine your light everywhere you go as you may be the ONLY bible, torah etc. that the next person you meet may ever read.......   The possibilities are truly endless....   SO THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSES.......

I have SO MANY exciting things on the HERE AND NOW horizon that I know will further propel the New Age Nerd community back into the stratosphere of INSPIRATION and LOVE!

It is way past time for us to turn our collective suffering into soul filled Purpose.  Not just for ourselves, but for the entire planet.
