Most deeply spiritually inclined individuals, especially those who have felt a calling towards SOUL service (life coach/ teacher, reiki masters spiritual writers etc.) have at their disposal a WICKEDLY innate sense of EMPATHY and are usually incredibly sensitive. Our greatest strength is at times our greatest weakness. It is our very own Super Power that at times can cause us an enormous amount of pain, isolation, and disconnection from others. And as Uncle Ben professed to Peter Parker, AKA Spider Man, “With great power comes great responsibility.” And although we inherently know and understand we came here for the purpose of holding a space of LOVE for the world, as well as helping others Re-member who they truly are, life for many of us in this fraternity of Lightworkers can be quite arduous. In fact, the suicide rate for empathic Lightworkers is five times higher than the rest of the population. And especially at such an important period of time on this planet's period of conscious evolution, that just can't be!!
That's why it is so important that those of us in this community search out and find our SOUL POD.
I was first introduced to this concept in a truly enlightening book called ‘Bringers of the Dawn’ by Barbara Marciniak. In one chapter she fleshes out the idea that it is VITAL that Lightworkers on this planet seek out their SOUL POD. Essentially, this term is used to describe a like minded group of Spirits who become your Soul Family while you are here on Earth. These individuals work with you, and you with them. All for the single mission of spreading Love, Light, Peace, and Joy around the world. But unlike other friends or family members, your SOUL POD never judge or try to compete with you. They KNOW WHO YOU TRULY ARE and support you through the denseness of this realm. Lifting you up when you are down, watching your back from others who may try and take advantage of your kindness and sensitivity. The most telltale sign that you have met a member of your SOUL POD is through that magical feeling you receive upon first encountering someone. That indelible feeling that even though you just met, you feel as though ‘you have known them your entire life.’ The reason that feeling rushes through you is because often that is the very case. You have KNOWN them, but for much longer than this life. For many lifetimes. Very often members of a SOUL POD decide to come down to Earth at the same time, to assist one another on their Journey.
This planet can be incredibly difficult to navigate for those of us that carry the ethereal energy of the cosmos and have chosen to be a Bringer of the Light to the world. We often feel that we don't fit in. That we are misjudged and misunderstood, or often just plain up STRANGE! But by seeking out and finding members of your SOUL POD, you can help circumvent many of these feelings, because you realize YOU ARE NOT ALONE. And that can make an enormous difference in our own ability to hold the vibration we came here to share!!
For we have such important work to do. As Marciniak writes in her book, “When you love yourself and Earth, and you KNOW that you are here to redefine, redesign, and break the boundaries of humanity, you broadcast this. You live your life committed to this. If you ask us how much time you need to devote to this, we will say, “It is very simple. ALL YOUR TIME.” You will find that when you live your light, you will draw to yourself others who are very interested in living their lives in the same manner, and your numbers will grow and grow.”
So for those of you reading this, it might be a good idea to be aware of chance encounters, or opportunities to find like minded Spirits. By doing so, you will start to find your own SOUL POD. And that will be a gift for the ages, for it not only assists you and your own Hero's/Heroine's Journey, but helps solidify the reason you came here. And in these precarious times, that is a MIRACLE we all can benefit from!!
