How to TRANSFORM Your Life by WHAT Story You Are Holding Onto.......

Nearly 20 years ago, as I was just starting out on my own Journey of self actualization, I was being inundated from spiritual teachers who espoused that WE ARE NOT OUR STORIES!!  And at the time in my still burgeoning state of conscious awakening, that seemed to make perfect sense.   After all, myself included, during the course of my 20 something odd years on this planet, there was no denying the fact that I had come across an absolute cacophony of individuals who seemed completely trapped in an insidious time loop of reliving their past trials and tribulations, their sufferings and loss, by replaying them not only in their own mind, but more often than not, bringing others INTO their story.  The foundation of which usually consisted of telling the EXACT same story over and over and, YES, over again.   And 9 times out of ten, they were SO caught up in the RAW DEAL they felt life kept serving up to them time and time again, that their vibration of victim consciousness was so palatable, it could be felt the absolutely moment you stepped anywhere near their energetic footprint. And after a while, you transformed into Bugs Bunny, "Exit, stage right!"  LOL

Truth be told, after encountering such a Gi-normous amount of friends, relatives, clients, re-creating this exact same behavior around their STORIES and witnessing the amount of pain that this behavioral pattern and addiction was causing not only the individual, but by proxy, their entire TRIBE, it was easy to see why for a portion of time, I too, would espouse as a friend, coach, and teacher that WE ARE NOT OUR STORY!  

UNTIL, I started to dive DEEP into Joseph Campbell's life work of THE HERO'S JOURNEY!!

And that's when all the puzzle pieces started to fall into place!   And I genuinely began to feel his life's work at the deepest part of my BEINGNESS!  By now this should in NO way be a surprise to followers of The New Age Nerd community.  I have touted Joseph Campbell and the entirety of his life's work, which is now known as the Hero's/Heroine's Journey since the inception of this blog over two years ago. 

As a quick side note, I would love to flesh out how my slavish love and respect for Joseph Campbell and his life's work took such a fervent hold over my entire level of BEINGNESS.  I had been following a fellow spiritual teacher and coach named Gabby Bernstein for over 10 years.   She and her tribe for the uninformed are lovingly known as The Spirit Junkies.  All based on her first NY Times best selling book Spirit Junkie!!(If you have not heard of or read this text, do yourself a favor and pick up a copy of it on the AMAZON store!)

She had read one of the basic spiritual tenants of spiritual coaching and teaching called A Course In Miracles.  And the prose spoke to her with such a level of deep rooted TRUTH, that she sought then and there, to make it her life's CALLING to learn how to teach its glorifying spiritual truths to her TRIBE!   And so she went to a speech from the LUMINARY Marianne Williamson in Los Angeles who had spent the previous 20 years teaching the Course in Miracles to all her disciples.   And Gabby had the courage to wait until after Marianne's speech had concluded to walk toward the stage to speak to her.   And guess what?  Marianne, her attention no doubt being pulled in a cacophony of directions, actually stayed up on stage long enough for Gabby to approach her.  Knowing time was of the essence, Gabby seized the moment and simply asked Marriane how she could teach the spiritual tenets within The Course in Miracles to her fellow millennials.  And Marriane's response was quick and to the point.  She simply espoused, 'Gabby, pray to God every day for the next year how to teach this information to your TRIBE."  And that's EXACTLY what Gabby did.   And as they say, the rest is now history, as Gabby Bernstein is now a true luminary and respected spiritual coach and teacher on this planet!!

I share this story with my TRIBE because I believe that success leaves a trail and so even though Joseph Campbell is no longer with us, I have spent the last year praying to God every day on how to best teach his life long works of The Hero's Journey to my own group of New Age Nerds!  And as the saying goes, all good things come in time, and during the past 12 months I have been given daily intuitions about the very manner in how to truly assist others in UNLEASHING their God given talents through following the principles within The Hero's Journey and transforming the 'STORY' they had been telling themselves for years into a new version that is NOW based in TRUTH!!!  Amen!!   Like any worthy Superhero, basically creating a brand new ORIGIN story that was blessed with the TRUTH of Spirit and not stemming from the insidiousness of the EGO!

And so during the past two years, my KNOWINGNESS surrounding the power of our own unique STORY now resonates within me with a completely different color palette.  I now truly KNOW that while our personal STORY does not define the entirety of Who We Are, when we shift our alignment and begin to look at our past personal history through a different filtered lens of TRUTH, our story IS   A PART OF WHO WE ARE!!!  In fact, our STORY is indeed a very IMPORTANT puzzle piece that is meant to assist us toward finding our life's CALLING!

The issue isn't that our STORY isn't indeed a powerful force.  After all, we all share in the same collective consciousness.  And how cool is it that as Russell Crowe declares in the film The Gladiator,  "Our lives will forever echo within the fabric of all eternity!"   We all get to share our own unique verse in the collective STORY of the entire cosmos!!  And THAT my New Age Nerds, frickin' ROCKS!!!  

The core problem comes with WHAT STORY we are telling ourselves about the experiences that have manifested into our lives.  And exactly where the stories content originates from.  If it stems from EGO, chances are that it contains little to NO truth!  Re-member, the EGO wants to keep you playing small by keeping you in victim consciousness.  The EGO is a cunning thief that inherently understands you being at PEACE is the case core of its demise!   Thankfully, you have been given the most potent energetic thief deterrent known to man in the Power of Acceptance!  Because once you have made PEACE with every moment and every manifested experience in your life, especially with whatever is currently showing up in The Now, like Aragorn in The Lord of The Rings you will have slayed all your inner orcs and brought peace to yourself and all others you came here to assist on their own Hero's Journey!!   

Once we truly start to filter our emotions from our life experience through the lens of SOURCE, we can begin to bask in the Love of Gratitude!  Our Story born of Egoistic energy no longer holds us back in any way!  But rather propels us forward toward our life's CALLING!!  For we begin to see the gifts that have been entrenched in Each and Every moment that life has brought into the energetic fabric of our own powerful and purposeful STORY!!  It is then that we can use these gifts in the same way that Yoda yields the power of the FORCE!!!  Your job in this stage is to simply BELIEVE !!  With no doubt or fear............. Transforming all your FEAR into LOVE.....    For it is within this space that MIRACLES manifest !!!!

This is why it is so utterly important for us collectively to use the healing and  transformative power of ACCEPTANCE as a way to live in pure ALLOWANCE!!  For it is only here that we spend our days living in a Divine Dance with Spirit....and where we can sip from the well of TRUST that defines the Universe itself!!  And we come into the Universal understanding that No Thing happens To Us; but rather THROUGH us and for our Highest Good!!  

Here is a Hero's Tip about this process!!   Everything in life is a PROCESS!  And when we do experience pain, discord, extreme angst, anxiety, or suffering in any form from an experience that has manifested info our experience, IT IS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY for us and others to allow these emotions time to resonate within us.   For repressed emotions are unactualized spiritual lessons.   Just don't allow yourself to permanently move into these houses of perpetual pain and suffering.    Instead, compassionately give yourself the gift to allow the emotion to flow through you just long enough for the lesson it was meant to bring forth into your life to be born!!    And then LET IT GO!!!


Each and Every one of us is a HERO!   And it is our individual STORIES that help define and assist us toward our life's CALLING!   Please let this sink in for just a moment!!   There has NEVER BEEN anyone in the history of time and space who has been given the exact Journey that you are currently facing!   And no one has ever been given the absolute Gifts and Talents that are currently awaiting you, should you simply choose to ACCEPT them!!  Re-member, your TRIBE is waiting for you............
