Interested in Long Lasting, Bliss Filled TRANSFORMATION... Here is the KEY..!

 

The path toward the realization of Actualized Self; the understanding that we are all a unique emanation of a FORCE that has always been and forever will BE is part of the authentic Superhero's Journey. Cosmic forces way beyond even the heightened of human senses cannot begin to capture the glorious rapture of the true SOURCE of our collective consciousness.  And anything of a collective nature shares a core semblance of TRUTH.  Of unity and commiseration. Of understanding and core strength that is impenetrable toward outside forces threatening any insidious actions threatening its very existence. 

The team of cosmic Superhero's I deem as  "The Legion of Love" (yes, that means all you New Age Nerds) are far more vital and needed NOW more than you may imagine. There is a scene in the film Rambo: First Blood Part 2 in which John Rambo believes he is no thing less than a pawn in the US military's machination for power and greed. And yet, through the soft, caring utterings of a Vietnamese refuge, he is reminded of how much his personal mission on this Earth matters:

Co Bao: Why did they pick you? Because you like to fight?
Rambo: I'm expendable.
Co Bao: What mean expendable?

Rambo: It's like someone invites you to a party and you don't show up. It doesn't really matter. 
Co Bao: Rambo, you not expendable!

And like John Rambo, "YOU ARE NOT EXPENDABLE EITHER!" In fact, you are without measure. You matter so much more than you could possibly imagine. And spiritual soldier, "DON'T YOU EVER FRICKIN FORGET THAT!" But there is a question that must be pondered with undying certainty by each and every one of us as we rise from our night's slumber.  And it's exactly the way I prefer things to BE. Simple but oh so DEEP!  And I pray the answer has already been imprinted within the divinity of your SOUL! 

WHY ARE YOU HERE?! Seriously? Why do YOU feel you are walking along with this rest of us in this illusionary experience?!

Mock me if you like, but more importantly, answer the question with sincere authority for yourSELF!  I don't believe in absolutes, nor do I adhere to saintly musings that do not convey inner truths. Neither of which serve anyone's "greater good."  Wouldn't you agree?! 

But given the precious clicks on a clock that continues to move with our own time in its precarious grasp in this Earthly experience, continuing to run without any hesitation, do you not agree that it's a question worth pondering?! 

Before you succumb to any anxiety over your answer please understand that I DO NOT BELIEVE THAT LIFE IS A TEST.  There is no Pass/Fail final examination. I only ask that you search for the musings within your own SOUL. The part of you that is a spark of pure divinity. Obscured from EGO. Reticent toward the accumulation of short term contentment. Resolute in its absolve to attain happiness from that which is oh so short lived.
For within THAT space has been placed the answers that you truly seek! The solutions to the unadorned peace and joy that has escaped the ravenous hunger of the most rapturous galactic soul seekers of this spiritual realm.

For those who wish to gleem into my own lifetime ponderings of this proclamation, my answer may seem all too simple. I believe we are all here for only ONE REASON! 

TO BE LOVE.....................

Everything comes back to this simple epithet, no matter how much deep pondering my own mind grinds its muscles. I come back to the exact same template of resolute belief. And as simple a task as this may sound written down and/or even spoken aloud, putting it into practical measures is something we still have much to learn, understand, and re-member!

Just today alone, can you think back to something you could have done, delivered, professed, or emotionalized with more LOVE than what you actually did?! Again, sans any judgment. THAT IS NOT WHAT THIS POST IS ABOUT! It's about raising our own collective consciousness back toward the vibration of deep resonating connection to the understanding that WE ARE ALL ONE! Separation is an illusion my New Age Nerds. May I please ask that we finally start treating this earthly experience in that manner. Too much of a good thing is starting to become our very own undoing. The sweet nectar of believing in our own separate GREATNESS is causing a dilemma of delusion that is threatening our combined efforts of gracefully saving this planet from its very demise. 

One of my own Superhero's for the ages is the great Albert Einstein. Before his passing, he wrote his only daughter a little known, but quite prescient letter, that has become a daily beacon that far surpasses any of his scientific pontifications on the reality of the Universe:

”When I proposed the theory of relativity, very few understood me, and what I will reveal now to transmit to mankind will also collide with the misunderstanding and prejudice in the world.

I ask you to guard the letters as long as necessary, years, decades, until society is advanced enough to accept what I will explain below.
There is an extremely powerful force that, so far, science has not found a formal explanation to. It is a force that includes and governs all others, and is even behind any phenomenon operating in the universe and has not yet been identified by us.

This universal force is LOVE.

When scientists looked for a unified theory of the universe they forgot the most powerful unseen force.

Love is Light, that enlightens those who give and receive it.
Love is gravity, because it makes some people feel attracted to others.

Love is power, because it multiplies the best we have, and allows humanity not to be extinguished in their blind selfishness. Love unfolds and reveals.

For love we live and die.
Love is God and God is Love.

This force explains everything and gives meaning to life. This is the variable that we have ignored for too long, maybe because we are afraid of love because it is the only energy in the universe that man has not learned to drive at will.

To give visibility to love, I made a simple substitution in my most famous equation.

If instead of E = mc2, we accept that the energy to heal the world can be obtained through love multiplied by the speed of light squared, we arrive at the conclusion that love is the most powerful force there is, because it has no limits.

After the failure of humanity in the use and control of the other forces of the universe that have turned against us, it is urgent that we nourish ourselves with another kind of energy…

If we want our species to survive, if we are to find meaning in life, if we want to save the world and every sentient being that inhabits it, love is the one and only answer.
Perhaps we are not yet ready to make a bomb of love, a device powerful enough to entirely destroy the hate, selfishness and greed that devastate the planet.

However, each individual carries within them a small but powerful generator of love whose energy is waiting to be released.
When we learn to give and receive this universal energy, dear Lieserl, we will have affirmed that love conquers all, is able to transcend everything and anything, because love is the quintessence of life."

In all that we do, if it is served with a helping dose of lavish LOVE, the end result would be spellbinding. Ethereal!  Grace filled! The exact same frequency that have propelled to historic highs the words of Jesus the Christ, Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Jr, Socrates, Thomas Jefferson, William Shakespeare, Abraham Lincoln, Ralph Waldo Emerson, and Joseph Campbell.

LOVE is the most ferocious force in all the Universe. It absolves all ill-wills.  It is the unifying strength that fortifies us all. It pacifies all of our needs. It supersedes our greatest dreams. And under its forgiving grace, it has the ability to transcend the most formidable blocks to the greatest miracles that heaven has placed within our most treasured dreams. 

Please never underestimate the CALLINGS of another's soul. We can only unify as the collective ONE if we have belief that every prayer under our collective vision is held as sacred. 

We LOVE!
We ASPIRE!
We TRANSCEND!
We ARE ALL ONE!

Why SIGNIFICANCE Super Charges Any Form Of SUCCESS...!

  

A few years ago I attended a funeral of a still fairly young man. A warrior who had suffered for the majority of his shortened life from a disease that completely ravishes a Spirit's earthly body with the type of pain and angst that most of us would find unfathomable.  The illness is called HEMOPHILIA.  Essentially, those with this insidious affliction cannot form blood clotting on their own.  And the list of horrifying side effects this horrendous malady puts on the body is everything from EXTREME arthritis - to the point where eventually most of those affected eventually become wheelchair bound - not including brutal bruising and bleeding under the skin simply through a thoughtful embrace.  Just unimaginable suffering!

However, this completely COURAGEOUS individual requested his relatives NOT have a traditional funeral ceremony.  No, what he desired was to have his most cherished friends and life long companions get up and tell funny or insightful stories about HIS STORY!    

And so on the day of his funeral, those of us in the procession were gifted to a myriad of absolutely hilarious, personal, intimate, and meaningful tales that truly fleshed out who he was and more importantly, HOW HE CHOSE TO LIVE!  While he did not live a long life, he lived a life full of Soulful SIGNIFICANCE!  And my Fellow New Age Nerds, that is an everlasting message to all of us about the manner in which we are to spend our precious time on our Earthly condition.......

But what EXACTLY does that mean; a life of SIGNIFICANCE?  Like SUCCESS, it can mean a  of things to different people.  And that is completely OK!  However, I would like to take the time to flesh out what it means to me........

Our world, especially here in the UNITED STATES, has slowly become a breeding ground for those who live to work, rather than WORK TO LIVE!  Gi-normous difference!  And as wonderful as some of the technological advances that have become utterly engrained in most facets of our life, they have also taken a strangle hold over what precious free time we used to have in abundance.  Let's be honest, most of us are never REALLY disconnected from work.  And how can we be when our bosses know they can text, IM, Facebook message, or reach us through a cell phone call wherever we are in the World?  Back when I first started my career (when we still had to ride to work on horseback...LOL) the moment we left our desks for the day, we were done, through, capooey, adios amigo, until 9:00 the next workday!  Those were truly magical times before home computers and cell phones even existed................

You see that very freedom allowed me and my fellow GEEKS to still have time each night to get together for a game of touch football, or play a quick game of Dungeons and Dragons. (HEY, why do you think one of the reasons this blog is called THE NEW AGE NERD!  

It was a time when our parents could still get home from work in time to either cheer from the stands or actually coach our soccer, baseball, basketball, or football teams!  Although I'm sure my step-dad (although the ONLY Dad I ever knew) may have tried to reign my mom in a little 

( they were tag team coaches of my baseball teams) as she had a rule that anyone who hit a home run would get a free hotdog!  Needlessly to say, when any of my fellow teammates would hit a ball more than 10 feet from home plate, they wouldn't stop running the bases until they were either thrown out or rounded the bases to collect that juicy Nathan's Ballpark with extra mustard!  LOL  Oh, those were truly the times of my life!  Why you ask; BECAUSE THEY WERE TRULY SIGNIFICANT!!  

And unfortunately, I am currently witnessing such magical moments becoming relics of a past that always left an indelible imprint within my being!   Because when we take our very last breath on this planet, there will be a plethora of things that we will ALL be remembered for!  And I personally feel that right now, we are spending way too much energy headed in a direction that in NO way encompasses the true meaning of WHY WE ARE HERE and what we will be remembered for! Our SIGNIFICANCE! Put another way, what we left behind in service of others............

One of my greatest heroes is Martin Luther King, Jr. who wrote, in my opinion, one of the greatest speeches of all time. It's now referred to as  'The Drum Major Instinct.'  As we all know, the God given talent he had for using parables as a way of teaching his message were unmatched. And this fiery, impassioned speech still sends chills up my spine every time I hear or read it!  It truly speaks to the topic of living a life of SIGNIFICANCE and LOVE.....  Here is just a tiny excerpt that I hope INSPIRES all who read it......

But now the problem is, it is the drum major instinct. And you know, you see people over and over again with the drum major instinct taking them over. And they just live their lives trying to outdo the Joneses. (Amen) They got to get this coat because this particular coat is a little better and a little better-looking than Mary’s coat. And I got to drive this car because it’s something about this car that makes my car a little better than my neighbor’s car. (Amen) I know a man who used to live in a thirty-five-thousand-dollar house. And other people started building thirty-five-thousand-dollar houses, so he built a seventy-five-thousand-dollar house. And then somebody else built a seventy-five-thousand-dollar house, and he built a hundred-thousand-dollar house. And I don’t know where he’s going to end up if he’s going to live his life trying to keep up with the Joneses. LOL

There comes a time that the drum major instinct can become destructive. (Make it plain) And that’s where I want to move now. I want to move to the point of saying that if this instinct is not harnessed, it becomes a very dangerous, pernicious instinct. For instance, if it isn’t harnessed, it causes one’s personality to become distorted. I guess that’s the most damaging aspect of it: what it does to the personality. If it isn’t harnessed, you will end up day in and day out trying to deal with your ego problem by boasting. Have you ever heard people that—you know, and I’m sure you’ve met them—that really become sickening because they just sit up all the time talking about themselves. (Amen) And they just boast and boast and boast, and that’s the person who has not harnessed the drum major instinct.

And then it does other things to the personality. It causes you to lie about who you know sometimes. (Amen, Make it plain) There are some people who are influence peddlers. And in their attempt to deal with the drum major instinct, they have to try to identify with the so-called big-name people. (Yeah, Make it plain) And if you’re not careful, they will make you think they know somebody that they don’t really know. (Amen) They know them well, they sip tea with them, and they this-and-that. That happens to people.

And the other thing is that it causes one to engage ultimately in activities that are merely used to get attention. Criminologists tell us that some people are driven to crime because of this drum major instinct. They don’t feel that they are getting enough attention through the normal channels of social behavior, and so they turn to anti-social behavior in order to get attention, in order to feel important. (Yeah) And so they get that gun, and before they know it they robbed a bank in a quest for recognition, in a quest for importance.

And then the final great tragedy of the distorted personality is the fact that when one fails to harness this instinct, (Glory to God) he ends up trying to push others down in order to push himself up. (Amen) And whenever you do that, you engage in some of the most vicious activities. You will spread evil, vicious, lying gossip on people, because you are trying to pull them down in order to push yourself up. (Make it plain) And the great issue of life is to harness the drum major instinct.

But let me rush on to my conclusion, because I want you to see what Jesus was really saying. What was the answer that Jesus gave these men? It’s very interesting. One would have thought that Jesus would have condemned them. One would have thought that Jesus would have said, “You are out of your place. You are selfish. Why would you raise such a question?”

But that isn’t what Jesus did; he did something altogether different. He said in substance, “Oh, I see, you want to be first. You want to be great. You want to be important. You want to be significant. Well, you ought to be. If you’re going to be my disciple, you must be.” But he reordered priorities. And he said, “Yes, don’t give up this instinct. It’s a good instinct if you use it right. (Yes) It’s a good instinct if you don’t distort it and pervert it. Don’t give it up. Keep feeling the need for being important. Keep feeling the need for being first. But I want you to be first in love. (Amen) I want you to be first in moral excellence. I want you to be first in generosity. That is what I want you to do.”

And he transformed the situation by giving a new definition of greatness. And you know how he said it? He said, “Now brethren, I can’t give you greatness. And really, I can’t make you first.” This is what Jesus said to James and John. “You must earn it. True greatness comes not by favoritism, but by fitness. And the right hand and the left are not mine to give, they belong to those who are prepared.” (Amen)

And so Jesus gave us a new norm of greatness. If you want to be important—wonderful. If you want to be recognized—wonderful. If you want to be great—wonderful. But recognize that he who is greatest among you shall be your servant. (Amen) That’s a new definition of greatness.

And this morning, the thing that I like about it: by giving that definition of greatness, it means that everybody can be great, (Everybody) because everybody can serve. (Amen) You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. (All right) You don’t have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve. You don’t have to know about Plato and Aristotle to serve. You don’t have to know Einstein’s theory of relativity to serve. You don’t have to know the second theory of thermodynamics in physics to serve. (Amen) You only need a heart full of grace, (Yes, sir, Amen) a soul generated by love. (Yes) And you can be that servant............

And a precious two days later, Martin Luther King, Jr. was murdered in cold blood.  Yet I truly believe he had lived his CALLING and spread the Gospel he came here to share with the world. A template of how to live a life in the name of compassion, empathy, service, and LOVE!

Now, I know many of you have variant ideas regarding organized religion, and I respect that more than you could ever know!   And I am NOT asking you to have your own personal beliefs regarding anything mentioned in this speech to be challenged or changed.  For that has nothing to do with why I included it in this post.  No, I used certain excerpts today to simply challenge your own perceptions about what SIGNIFICANCE and GREATNESS means to YOU?!? 

Because my compadres, I am hearing from too many friends, and relatives, and coaching clients,  all with a common thread of current emotional discord regarding sympathetic connection.  They feel as though their actions are not being met with a sense of Soulful Significance!  Many of them are trying their damned best to usurp what little time they have been given to reach out to others who are sick, alone, living in extreme lack, or spiritual silence.  And while they are doing it to express their own level of care and concern, they are being met back with a complete lack of GRATITUDE and  Reciprocity!  And while I don't wish to mix my messages, the intent with what I wish to express is that SIGNIFICANCE IS MOST POWERFUL WHEN IT IS A TWO WAY STREET!  For what we share, SPIRIT circulates in the form of LOVE AND CARE!!  For as Martin Luther King, Jr. tells us, we can ALL be Great and Important!  But in order to be SIGNIFICANT in the eyes of this great UNIVERSE, we must be a servant for ONE ANOTHER!!  

Right now, we are all too often building walls of isolation to protect us from the painful expressions that manifest with the lack of mutual care and compassion we are showing one another.  And, yes, to rise above the actions of THE OTHER is a spiritual practice that would serve all of us, but would it not be more loving and SIGNIFICANT for us to be able to forgo such soulful tasks, especially in our times of emotional, physical, and spiritual needs if we rose above our own EGOIC necessities to Re-member those who have stood before US in our own time of need to let them know that we share our hearts in KINDNESS AND GRATITUDE as servants of LOVE!!  Because if there is ONE THING this world could use it is more LOVE!!!    

As a HERO's TIP, here are a few things that may assist you in sharing your precious free time and transform it into a form of SIGNIFICANCE that has the ability to truly change the world:

1- Success adds value to oneself.  Significance adds value to others.


A perfect example of this is my friend Jennifer Ohlson.  We met in college where she was awarded a full sports scholarship.   Here is just a sampling of some of her extraordinary personal achievements:
~~  Most lettered athlete in Colorado sports history
~~  USA Today Colorado Athlete of the Year
~~  ECAC Heptathlon Champion her senior year


The list goes on, but she has turned her MASSIVE personal success into a thriving business called Interactive Health Technologies!  She and her team have created a cloud based technology program to revolutionize the physical education system.   IHT is "dedicated to helping unlock the full potential inside every individual, empowering them from kindergarten through graduation day to take personal responsibility for their health and well-being."  Jen literally took her greatest passion and personal success, and has turned it into something that is adding TREMENDOUS value to the WORLD!  GO Jen!

2- Success has limited influence.  Significance has UNLIMITED influence.

3-  Turning Success into Significance is one of the best ways to find our CALLING.

I think we have all experienced the fleeting feeling that various success brings into our life.  But to go beyond ourself, and meld what our true talents to the world may be, with a burning desire to be of service to others, creates a gateway into our personal calling. 

4-  Pursuing success only brings joy to but a few, but pursuing significance brings joy to many.  And isn't that what the Hero's Journey, at its core, is truly all about.  Bringing back the knowledge we have learned on our personal quest of challenges, to be of service to others who are still attempting to get through theirs?!  As Martin Luther King Jr. often espoused, “Life's most persistent and urgent question is: What are we doing for others?”

So I would like to remind each and every one of you, in what ways can you be a servant in your own lives?  Especially to those who have always been a servant of care and compassion in your own life. Not because we need to feel that our actions mattered, but because GRATITUDE is the greatest THANK YOU NOTE we could ever send to one another!! Because, the hard cold truth is that one day, the Spirits who cared for us the most will no longer be there!  And wouldn't it be more than worthwhile to be one of the individuals that was able to stand up at their own funeral procession and have stories to share?!  Stories that are truly SIGNIFICANT?!?

Does Your Best Life STILL Seem Unattainable... A Lack Of FEROCITY May Be The KEY...!

 

Believe it or not, Spring and Summer have already been "Sprung" upon us. And for many of you New Age Nerds, that means another opportunity to mirror nature's magical rebirthing process. With the warming weather and longer days comes more time to manifest your goals! Many of them no doubt being the same ones left unscratched from last year's list. Am I right?! 

So to assist those of you who are truly willing to commit toward new habits that will empower you toward behaviors that 'get things done,' I would like to introduce you to one of my favorite manifestation tools. It's called the Super Heroic Habit of FEROCITY! And when incorporated into your daily routine, I promise you it will become a powerfully potent agent that will change your life. I know that's quite a huge declaration! And you're right. So buyer beware; like anything else that changes the quality of your life experiences, it must be used with great effort, care and consistency. Capiche?! So absolutely NO refunds on this one....  ;0)

Before I further flesh out the specifics of this Heroic Habit, I would first like to dispel a much misunderstood tenet of spiritual transformation/self actualization work. I often come across patrons in the personal self help world who espouse that you are "out of alignment" and/or in a state of "unease" if you make plans and goals and strive toward them with great fervor. They will say that all one must do is "be in the flow" of life and let the Universe take care of the rest. Simply ask, and you shall receive. As if taking action is actually an insult to the Universe. Yet, more often than not, it is this same group that always seems to be in a constant state of lack. And the closer you investigate, there is usually very little they have actually accomplished in their own life. No judgment, but I believe there is a middle ground here to explore that will bring more sound understanding to the nature of our reality. 

First and foremost, I think it is quite beneficial to create a mindset that does not sit in a state of absolutes. Life is NOT all black and whites. There are a cacophony of colors in the fabric scheme of the illusionary veil we use to manifest our desires.  The richest mindsets are in allowance of incorporating BOTH, not just "either/or" into their personal paradigms. As in, one can be BOTH "at ease" with the natural energetic flow of the Universe, AND at the same time be passionately determined with massive action toward their chosen endeavors/goals/desires! In fact, I would like to take it one step further and state that it is essential for us to engage life with a gregarious gusto. Meaning making plans, routines, action steps, and goals as part of our way of being true co-creators with the Divine Source! Personally, I believe the Universe acknowledges and appreciates the bold, the doers, and the decisive. Plus, as Helen Keller said, "Life is either a great adventure, or nothing at all." Well, how in the hell can one have a great adventure without stepping off of the sidelines and putting yourSELF smack dab in the middle of all the action?! And setting ourSELVES up for success by creating a playbook for our own life and the fulfillment of our own unique CALLINGS!

Plus, our collective mission is to grow, learn, and evolve into the grandest version of ourSELVES. And that type of massive expansion occurs most effectively through "playing in the game." And the bigger we choose to play, the more we explode into bliss filled bursts of energetic potentiality. The very aspect of cosmic causality that the Universe sent us here to manifest for its own ascension into more conscious LOVE! 

I believe in a form of spirituality that is DEEP, but SIMPLE! 

And so my own personal paradigm for manifestation consists of just two parts:

1. THE CREATING

2. THE COLLECTING 

The creating aspect is done specifically through the sub-conscious mind. The space within us that houses the divine spark of Universal Source energy that connects us all to the ONE GOD MIND. It creates our reality though the manipulation of energy beyond time and space based on our thoughts (the imagination) and our emotions. Once an idea has been placed within the sub-conscious mind, it instantaneously goes to work to manifest that idea (person, place, idea) into our life as actualized matter. And the stronger our thoughts and emotions become, the faster it will manifest it on our behalf. 

But there is a step two we must adhere to. And I call that "The Collecting" stage. It's all about action. Now sometimes what we desire will appear in pure form. However, most of the time, the manifestation process is a two-step dance of true co-creation with the Universe. As soon as we are finished "creating" what we desire to manifest onto our lives, the Universe will begin to use the sub-conscious mind to deliver us new plans, action steps, and intuitive hunches to assist us in the "collecting" of our precious prize. And its during the collecting stage that the grand adventure truly begins. It's through the daily facing of our challenges, engaging obstacles, and advancing towards adversity that we learn, grow, and gain the universal insight that our soul truly seeks to savor! So be grateful that we must earn and work for what we desire. Without the "Collecting Stage," we would miss out on all the sprinkles of magic that assists in raising our own vibrational level of consciousness. All the really amazing stuff that life dishes out if we are just brave enough to answer the call to our own daily adventures! 

Because please NEVER forget, once on the other side, CONSCIOUSNESS IS YOUR CURRENCY! While it is quite a divine feeling to acquire in physical form our greatest heartfelt desires, it is our expanded soul, filled with new found learned LOVE and wisdom that we will carry within us for eternity! Let that truly sink in for a moment or three!  ;0)

Hopefully you now have a much better understanding as to why being too passive in the manner you engage life is actually counterproductive to your mission. Life is certainly far from an easy experience. And it isn't always meant to be. We learn and grow through pain and adversity. And in time, we realize that every ounce of discord was worth all the shedding of tears in order for the attainment of our new found energetic expansion! 

And that's why my suggestion is to begin to tackle your dreams and goals with absolute FEROCITY! Now I did NOT say attack life! Life is completely rigged in your favor. Always! Never forget to be in total allowance of "the Flow" that creates your connection to SOURCE. The natural, abundant nature that brings the never ending force of LOVE and all its super powers into your existence. But as I stated earlier, you can be in complete  allowance of life's "natural flow" and at the same time tackle your CALLINGS/GOALS with a fervent ferocity. 

And FEROCITY is a tool that can assist you in climbing the toughest of mountains! Here is my definition of this revelatory Super Heroic Habit:

Focused

Enthusiastic

Responsive

Observant

Consistent

Intentional

Tenacious

Yearning to Be Great

Being ferocious means being "all in!" It's doing all the things that most others choose not to. It means stepping WAY out of your comfort zone each and every day. It's about taking inspired action. Meaning you are taking cues from the intuitive signs, hunches, and whispers that are constantly being sent to you by the Universe and acting upon them in absolute FAITH! And it's the path of all Superheroes!

Life truly does begin at the end of your own Comfort Zones! Staying comfortable causes your Inner Superhero to become agitated and discontent; like a caged tiger mauling its lockbox so that it can be UNLEASHED out into the world. Your Super Heroic Higher Self came here to be DISRUPTIVE! To blast this world with bliss filled boosts of love, compassion, kindness, creativity, service, inspiration, and joy!

We are all "Legends in the Making." It's our very birthright to be Iconoclastic Innovators! And as Superheroes, we have the super powers to be forcefully disruptive in a world that desires to be awoken from its deep slumber. Showering each day with LOVE BOMBS of spiritual "shock and awe" is our collective purpose on this planet! We knew the nominal norm was no longer serving our highest good. So we are here to LOVE this world back into the LIGHT! BAM! Boom! Ka-pow! 

But we must earn this conscious change. Not because we are in any way not already completely worthy.  Because we are! But the process toward expansive growth, wisdom, learning, and massive shifts in collective change requires massive action. It's the system  the ONE GOD MIND put into place in this dense realm called Earth. As we forge through our own daily challenges, we are forced to stretch our own energetic signatures to blast through any previous notions of what the beauty of our own reality can BE! We begin to learn that the sky is NOT the limit; only the beginning of our own magnificence! And as our own core essence of energy expands, so does the Universe in equal proportions. It's the most magical equation in all the Cosmos. And a true "win, win" across the spiritual spectrum!

So I highly suggest you start to build the Super Heroic Habit of FEROCITY today!

Begin with creating a daily "Morning Mindset." For instance, part of my own morning routine is a meditation followed by repeating my Daily Intentions. Here are my intentions for today:

TODAY I INTEND TO BE:

Filled with Gratitude

Alive with Ferocity in ALL I do

Radiating with Bliss for mySELF and all others

Overflowing with LOVE

Boundless with compassion and kindness

Steadfast in KNOWINGNESS that through my own magic, Extraordinary Things

will be made manifest in a Super Heroic Manner

Establishing an empowering Morning Mindset places yourSELF in a super space for a day of success and unadorned joy! And creates a habit of centering your mind, and realigning your energy toward your goals, not against them. Re-member, if you want to see great changes in your life, you have to change things in your life in a BIG WAY! As Albert Einstein said, "Problems cannot be solved from the same level of consciousness that created them." AMEN! 

Good thoughts, good words, and good deeds will lead to massive change in your life. But it's up to you to bare the task of creating new, empowering habits to see the change you desire to experience! Your own Inner Superhero is waiting to be set free. So step out of that comfort zone and soar to new, empowering, extraordinary heights and punch a hole in the sky of your greatest desires! And please DO NOT BE AFRAID TO BE FEROCIOUS IN ATTACKING YOUR GOALS!

The DOUBLE DOSE Super Powers of AWE And ASTONISHMENT...!

 

When I was five years old, my first childhood fascination became MAGIC!  I remember watching a David Copperfield special on our 19 inch black and white television.  Little did he know that while he was seemingly manipulating the laws of physics right before by big brown eyes, the real magic being performed was within my own beingness.   For the first time, I saw life through a different spectrum. A technicolor lens of AWE and AMAZEMENT! Suddenly, anything seemed possible.  And this once fearful young lad was suddenly given a platform to perform within.  A grand stage built upon a woven tapestry where the only limitations were in what you were willing to believe! 

I began to read books on magic and even asked The Magic Maker King himself, Santa Claus, for a top of the line magic kit that very Christmas.  Every visitor to our home became a chance to awe and amaze with my newfound magical prowess!  And I made sure never to disappoint a member of my audience.  So I built up a smorgasbord of various tricks and slight of hand habits to call, upon very short notice.  My mom has told me stories about how my fervently held beliefs caused me to utter the phrase, "It's Mah-gic!" to pair up with anything that fit the bill of unexplained circumstance!  

And thankfully, I still carry that overwhelming sense of excitement about life and all its magical moments to this very day!  And boy is doing so a real game changer.  Why do you think the Harry Potter books and movie franchise created such a powerful paradigm shift in our cultural zeitgeist?!  It's because WE ALL DESIRE OUR LIVES TO BE FILLED WITH MAGIC!  Don't we?!?  Life feels so much better when its infused with bursts of stardust and the magic of daily miracles!

I believe that we are all born with a keen bent toward the belief in magic, miracles, and the Awe and Amazement they conjure up.  Sadly, we often unlearn these feelings as we progress through the stages of our Hero's Journey.  As they say, 'Life Happens!'  And where we once had the ability to witness the wonder and wisdom of the Universe expressing itself all around us, the unconscious events that begin to 'pile up' around us dampen our senses.  That technicolor lens turns back to being just black and white.   And magic turns to misery.

However, that spark of Spirit never leaves us.  It can't!  For our human bodies are the temple upon which it lives while we are here, NOW.  It's our very essence.  The Super Heroic Higher Self that is the real you.  While you may have forgotten about your authentic self, it remains stead fast and serene within you.  It desires nothing more than for you to awaken from your slumber so that you may reunite as partners in unconscious crime.   And that's why it is constantly sending you Forget Me Nots.  You are its forever Valentine!  

Even if those around you have completely lost their ability to experience Awe and Amazement in life, does not mean that you have to do the same.  In fact, I HIGHLY suggest you begin to strip away the dirt and dust that has collected over time on your senses.   So that you can see clearly without the need for spiritual prescription lenses.  

When we are in allowance of Awe and Amazement in our life, we become bathed in the power of Infinite Intelligence.  A realignment occurs that puts us at ONE with SOURCE energy!  We get a VIP pass to pull back the illusionary veil of separation.  Where there was once a fear of lack, we begin to see that all life offers is abundance!  Rather than live in a constant state of competition with others, we stand in the light of their brilliance.  Not in the shadows of their accomplishments.  In complete AWE of their magnificence.  Because their power now shines a light of remembrance in what we ourselves are capable of conjuring in this world!  Which is absolutely anything and everything we desire!  JUST LIKE MAGIC!!!

When our gazes are mesmerized by the magic all around us, there is much less room for anger and fear.  The Oneness of life seeks to UNITE.  Not to disassemble and destroy!  And living within this powerful vibration, shifts our understanding back toward LOVE. And GRATITUDE!  For where we are in full allowance of the Holy Spirit, we bask in our platitude of differences; and conflicts transform into compassion.   Our sensibilities become heart centered and soulfully enriched. We become grateful for all 'the little things.'  Where there was once sorrow, there will be joy.  And PEACE will be with you, as it is with me!

As Pastor Scott Kramer says, "Amazement and astonishment are signs of the Holy Spirit's power and presence.  Where there is awe there is less likelihood of fear and suspicion, anger, hatred and all those emotions that are often associated with differences and with conflict."

SUPERHEROES IN TRAINING TIPS

So how exactly do we shift our energy back toward forms of awe and amazement?!  I have two suggestions that I would love to impart to all you New Age Nerds:

1. Incorporate the power of gratitude toward nature into your daily experiences.  Don't just 'stop and smell the roses.'  Gently touch and caress them.  Look deeply into their essence.  See the rich colors and contours of their vein lined leaves.  Admire their arched stems.   And the contrast of the soil just beneath their glory!  And then begin to look at ALL THINGS this way!  Your life will begin to slow down and within this new space in time, you will begin to see miracles all around you........

The former legendary college football coach Frosty Westering was a master at motivating his players though the power of the Natural Order.  His final coaching stop was at Pacific Lutheran University.  Where he NEVER had a losing record and is ninth all time in college wins for a head football coach.  In the middle of his practices, he was often known to blow his whistle.  He would instruct his players toward the view of majestic Mt Rainier in the distance.  He would have them all cheer in unison: "Attaway, Mt. Rainier!"   It was his way of keeping his players in a state of awe of the Natural World. He was fully aware of its power on the minds of his team.  Awe instills a sense of possibility and gratitude!!  And it obviously worked!

2.  Become more childlike in nature!  Kids still have their knack for knowing that anything is possible.  They still love to use the power of their imagination.  Their levels of astonishment are off the charts high!  Their sense of wonder is still fully in tact.  Their hearts have yet to be hardened by life's hardships.  And there is SO MUCH we can all learn from their blissful nature!  So commit to spending either more time with your own children;  especially during their playtime.  Or find ways to be in the energetic field of children at play when given the opportunity.  Watch, listen, and learn from them.  You may even be surprised at how much fun the experience turns out to be!

Obviously, that does mean to act immature or inappropriate.  I am simply suggesting you stray away from erroneous thinking that we must leave our natural, childlike wonder behind as we become adults.  For no thing could be farther from the truth.  We become much less creative as we age.  Our imaginations become withered from lack of use.  And we begin to lose belief in our own Super Heroic Powers.  

It's time to reignite our sense of Awe and Amazement!  Allow yourself to be astonished by at least ONE THING each day!   And watch your life turn back into a Technicolor of Daily Dreams...
